Alone in middle of a crowded room,
Where no one notice my shadowy gloom.
Anguish behind the sweetest smile,
Here I can pretend even just for a while.
Laughters and giggles that fills the air,
People talking and mingling everywhere.
I stare, leer and listen the whole time,
But no sound I could hear, just like a loud mime.
Red blood flows and fills our soul,
Separate lives used to be unknown.
Color of your voice, makes me wonder,
A known hymn that starts from a whisper.
Now I stand in front of someone so dear,
A face that is familiar but I quite fear.
A lost mourning soul, I choose to seclude,
Who holds the truth and the reality I elude.
